My penchant for anything metal lives on. I am a metal rabbit, i believe so and I somehow rely my indecisive judgment to zodiac and Chinese symbols. That being said I am a fan of metals. I love that it is clinical , neat and industrial all at the same time. I may have failed in getting myself that Acne metal embellished pants back in 2007 because it's immensely hi priced and limited, but I am quite happy that there's been a surge of cool metal accessories sprouting in the local market.

No this ain't ASOS. I don't have any Paypal account but this cuff is close. Only it is shorter whereas the ubiquitous ASOS cuff is like 5 inch taller. The catch is I got it for a price of less than 7 dollars. It's more fun in the Philippines, haha.

Yes it's malleable and i think If i do that firm bending for long, I might break it one day.I bought 2. It was so random. I was doing the weekly store visit of Gold Dot at Crossings in Trinoma then in my peripheral vision appeared this neat cuffs inside their jewelry box which , i think , seems to be intimidating for consumers. I was expecting it to be more than 10 dollars. I had to go back the next day because I ran out of cash from buying fabrics at a nearby store.

There I said it. It's available in Crossings. I was planning to keep it as a secret but who am i kidding? Kids these days are unimaginable. They get stuff from almost everywhere.. Cheers for more cheap but neat accessories!

I just bought these kickass wedges from Gold Dot. I had a hard time choosing between grey and blue but this year I am inspired by underwater tones, so I picked the blue one. Girls might get scared with the chunkiness of the wedge and the height but it's really comfy and light. The kind of shoes that I can endure for a day without the cursing and regret.

I went to the mall to grab myself 2 slices of Blueberry Cheesecake. If you wanna bribe me or something, that is my kind of weakness. Oh, Isn't it so refreshing to dress up in different hues of blue?

I may have slept at the wrong side of the bed last night for drowning myself with this formless garments. For someone whose growth spurt stopped at the age of 15 , at the height of 5'4", it would be unusual to wear such but you see last night , I jumped from one YouTube video of ze collections of the 3 great Japanese designers of our time: Rei Kawakubo , Junya Watanabe and Yohji Yamamoto . The 3 of them helped me dosed off in dreamland imagining all the beautiful collection . The jacket was perfect. It was a windy and rainy morning.

Meanwhile, these 2 photos below which I only saw last week were from 2 of my favorites in Rick Owens' AW12. At one point, doing the big boxy jacket + long skirt look above feels so right because I felt I was in the right direction.

For OS accessory designers Paul Jatayna and AJ Omandac, this scenario is mundane to them. ..their work room , their daily art ... However, for me who only visits the HQ quite a few times , the studio is a museum.

Upon entering , the smell of leather and funny-smelling chemicals welcomed me. The raw handmade bones lie on the table , waiting to be assembled in chains and locks . It was a beautiful artsy mess. The kind of mess that would inspire you to a higher level.

These accessories will be sent to Japan specifically to FakeTokyo. A store which houses the most interesting designer brands and labels like Gareth Pugh , Komakino , KTZ, Balmung , Jeffrey Campbell, Katie Eary, Simone Rocha, Yuima Nakazato and my forever dream - Complex Geometries. Yes it's a hi end store for the hi end japanese consumers that is why I am so so so so so so proud of my two friends who have a great phenomenal vision that appeals both locally and globally. Japanese are crazy buyers. They buy like mad.

It was a lovely morning in their office.

and oh...The sweet OS boys gave this to me... it's quite dangerous and it's worth it.

I've missed dressing like this. Post apocalyptic ... Something detached from the mundane. The heather jacket was given by my good friend Mike Magallanes. I took it as a reminder for me to bring back the nomad dressing that brought us together haha. The skirt was from last year's blogger's bazaar and owned none other than by Jujiin. So basically , Jujiin and Mike are with me in spirit. Went to a photoshoot for a friend's portfolio... I begged him to do the photoshoot next month since I feel the bloatedness in me but I gave in coz he bribed me with Chocnuts and Yakult tea. There....

Heeless shoes are everywhere now. I was just amazed with how its popularity grew. I first saw them at Nina Ricci's show in 2009. Then a budding designer named Kermit Tesoro ,who I only read in the papers and multiply blogs before , surprised the Filipinos by creating a similar concept yet entirely different design and feel. Like a deadly virus, The Lady Gaga invaded the world and exhalted her heel less shoes in every way she can . Since Lady Gaga is a mainstream entity, her anatomical parts were recognized, acknowledged and respected by everyone and I mean everyone . The crowd went crazy with her shoes as they would with her viral songs. Now everyone wants the experience of a lifetime as they may describe it (think: "I can die now once I get my hands on those heel less shoes" remarks ). People nowadays have become very expressive and a lot focused their self expression to fashion (the rise of fashion blogs) which is very easy. The "instant" age or the age of "accessibility" prevailed. That accessibility is best portrayed by the largest and strongest shoe brand today- Jeffrey Campbell.

Before I had no idea that I would actually get that heel less shoes. Yes it is expensive but there exist the concept of exclusivity between me and Kermit. It took me 2months to touch and fit the actual pair. It was reeally an experience. Now it's different. I feel so happy though that heel less shoes have become a household style in the brand that I mentioned. I was planning to get one and yet it's still sold out for 2 weeks already. It's a sign. Then again, If Lady Gaga can walk in them, then so can you.

I have a mild phobia inside a moving vehicle. A phobia that I have been dealing since I was 8. I have learned to overcome it somehow in different ways. I would pretend to sleep with eyes closed but fearful imaginings of car crash and accidents bombards my head always. Then I also tried reading books and magazines in the car to divert , but i ended up with a terrible eyesight. So I have learned to face it a lil bit. I take pictures of the road, passers by, vendors, moving vehicles. I became engrossed with perfecting the lighting and mixing colors and it would keep me busy.
Here , we passed by the streets of Manila. Still, I find the place magical and busy. Against the window of our vehicle , I hear puny noises of horns and voices. The harassing car fumes in my eyes. I shall take more photos next time as the trip here was just a short one. Good day.

Not really aiming for a look inspired by policemen but today calls for an all navy look. The heat is on and you can only rely on either breezy fabrics or colors to alleviate the inevitable eather. And how navy relaxes the eye is a fact. The pants is from Initial. A hongkong brand that my friend Mike Magallanes introduced to me years ago.. He often snags the pieces during his random thrifting adventures. As for me, I always give it to Mike whenever I accidentally pick an Initial item in the thrift store. I've heard that Miss Cecile van Straten of Chuvaness.com loves the brand too.. It reminded me of my high school pants since it is colored navy plus it has this funny piping on the sides. I love how it gives off a slim silhouette without looking too tight with the shape of legs. It basically has a spirit of its own. With heels, it looks great so I chose my Brian Evalle 7 inch wedge... Good day!!!

Another out-of-the box editorial from two of my most favorite creative individuals. The amalgamation of the most bizarre pieces by Chris Diaz, Leeroy New , OS Accessories and Gold Dot was incredible. Weeks before the shoot , I was informed by Enzo and Eric that there will be an editorial and when I saw the moodboard , I was so excited. Aliens and anything extra- terrestial are so close to my heart and with them you can never get anything mediocre. I've always loved how they tell a story... how they manipulate the clothes , shoes and whatever things they can grab to weave a mindblowing plot. Shoes will not just remain shoes in their editorials.

We are just compelled to make something out of curiosity and challenge for that time being. That is true because for our next collection, there will be a different fabric - metallic foil. For me it's fresh and challenging given the fact that not everyone understands and appreciate metallics. We are so excited!

Today I was torn between expressing my outfit in Margiela's sensibility and blank aesthetic versus Raf Simons signature color - tangerine. So I mixed the two. How odd. It was my first time to wear a blazer since 2009 and it's not even the usual blazer that we see everywhere. I envy those people who know how to transform a look by just wearing a blazer but I lost that "blazer" magic in me when I was acquainted to drapey and undulating cover ups which has an endless possibility of styling it. Blazers for me became too easy and stale in a sense that it is what it is. A boxy tailored garment worn over a shirt. But Don Protasio's blazer was an exception. It rises above the blazers that I've worshiped and met in my life. It's so "in-your-face" interesting . Last November I was just lusting to wear this half blazer and the shoes he presented in his SS2012 and now I'm actually wearing it. Now i know the feeling of wearing pieces that were packaged in a collection. Seamless ... filled with story

If there's someone out there who has a penchant for anything medical , i think that would be me. Not congratulating myself too much but having experienced nursing as a profession for 3 years , it has shaped me 70% of what i am today. It is something I can be proud of.
Meanwhile, Shoe designer Gwendolyn Huskens' celebration of this theme made me more proud. Entitled Medic Esthetic, the collection consisted of 6 odd footwears in palettes of creme and nude ,interpreting physical deformities in a different level and perspective through shoes . Bandage, plasters, gauze, correctional leg braces, steel, band aids altogether weaved the body of each shoe. The designer did a great job of not making the shoes appear as if it was a product of some school project. Actually, when i was still working in the hospital , during graveyard shift I would sketch these bizarre shoes and clothes inspired by X ray films, syringes, IV cannulas and breast pumps. Thanks to Gwendolyn Huskens for materializing that dream of mine.

Good Morning! Here's what I wore yesterday. Sunday is always family day. I've established this habit when I resigned in the hospital. Now that I am working in the office, I am able to enjoy the weekend as rest days. It was drizzling and any form of cold weather may it be a gloomy cloudy one is an opportunity to wear pieces other than cotton. Yes , it's a t-shirt weather here but they dint mention that leather skirts are friendly too. I am beginning to be obsessed with this long skirt I got from Japan. It's from an old Japanese designer Hitomi Azuhata. The label says Alfaspin. So glad that the label wasnt written in Hiragana characters. I usually google the unknown brands I get from my aunt and from occasional thrift shopping. The wrinkled leather reminds me of the Swedish brand OBSCUR which specializes in treated leather garments echoing the aesthetic of Rick Owens and Julius combined. Proud Race makes interesting and statement t-shirts. I am wearing the Virgin shirt again from their SS12 collection.

I honestly dont know how to wear bonnets or beanies. It makes my ears bigger ala Dopey of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. plus the fact that i am short already compounds to that.

But I was compelled to wear one because after so many years, I feel disgusted with the hair. Bad Hair days do exist and you just can't focus on the day knowing that there's a big ugly thing sitting on your head that irritates you. Then that's the time the role of the hat enters. I don't really wear hats but it does the job.

Brown hair has always been nice with hues of blue... I retouched my hair into ash blonde to cancel the orange and yellow that are present in my previous hair color . The blue pants are from our Paradigm Shift's 1st capsule collection - Blue Flight. Lately, I am beginning to relive my amusement with colors. Blue was my first choice mainly because it's so cool to the eyes. I have this new obsession with spearmint after I've watched this Anime on cable wearing a mint colored hair.. It was a short yet memorable dream when these Raf Simons leather shirts haunted me in my sleep. I almost smelled and tasted the cold and buttery leather against my moist skin. Moist because in my dreams, I was excited, happy, and filled with warmth. Then I woke up , quickly I unfolded my small laptop and like a mad dog , I googled the shirts. From Inception to gradual actualization ... That's the process I undergo everytime I wear something new. Something i would not wear for that time being. I remember wearing both a neon Helmut Lang shirt and a fluorescent yellow top last summer and that's it. I gave the neon shirt to my good friend Mike and ,of course, the Helmut Lang shirt to Don Protasio. Then again just this month , came Don Protasio's package with his surprise Christmas gift for me - a neon strap-on sleeves from his S/S 2012 collection. It was i think a special piece for me since from what I've seen from his recent SS12 lookbook, the detachable sleeves varied from metallic silver and somber hues of black and grey only. I had to wear it because it was one of my fave piece in his collection and the neon color was psychidelic and lovely. I can only imagine the plethora of ways on how i can wear it with anything... sorry, i love clothes too much haha.

About the random garter belt harness, I got it during the CDO X Bloggers United Bazaar. Rik Rasos of Proudrace was my boothmate so I had a chance to get firsthand on the items. I was mindlessly helping Rik in sorting out the clothes, then out of nothingness, this neon garter harness popped out. How it blinded me was a remarkable experience. I bought it in a jiffy.. It was on sale too.. I love anything with exposed garters. Garters reminded me of that Helmut Lang shirt I gave Don. I may have given it away but it came back to me in another entity.

I was so excited to wear these two neon pieces. These are the only 2 neon pieces I own plus my neon Zucca bag .

What's next: tangerine? canary? honeysuckle? thistle ? ... bring it on.. haha

i know the Miu Miu bird print is over, tired and done. The pants are from Monki courtesy of my very generous reader from Singapore.... . It's ultra comfy and it has pockets too. It can be mistaken as a pyjama because it's too cute. But I am 24 and cute might not be an appropriate adjective so I took the opportunity to wear my new tiger/ cheetah or cat beast whatever with the pants. It was new but was so clumsy I spilled my morning coffee on the shirt. anyway, it's still a beast.. speaking of beast, alas! The Don Protasio shoes by Gold Dot is on my feet... I'm so happy that blogs and sites (mostly US) are raving about Gold Dot Dax Wedges. Actually, when I saw the actual samples last 2 months, I told Ally how these Dax wedges are at par with giant labels Raphael Young and United Nude. The strength of the shoes lies within the acrylic detail. I love how a peculiar element is infused in a shoe. Crazy shoes are everywhere , but only a few possess a good construction and taste.

It's so hard to be to conceptual with shoes here in Manila. It's easy to impress girls with panache details and heel height , but the question is : are they gonna buy it? Will they choose the conceptual shoe over a normy pair which she can use day to night? To the church or to a friend's dinner?

My ultimate wish is that Manila market can be as brave and experimental , that's all.. But you can't blame them too, oh well..

Yes I bought these Grey Dax Wedges. I have the black one already but i can't seem to get enough of this. This pair is epic. Might do another version of this for the future collection. haha.

Continuation of my cold journey last month. I know I look a tad darker. gah, the bronzer looked okay inside the hotel room and when i came out i looked like I spent a day in the beach... We went to Camp John Hay , a famous spot in Baguio. My friends were so excited to play painball and wall climbing but me wearing a wedge and a tight leather pants so I was left there watching them have fun.. haha.. I will miss this place!

I've tried them on and I was so surprised to learn that these heelless shoes are stable, comfy and walk-able. Now I completely understand how good it feels to wear leather sans the fear of insulating more body heat. From Day 'til Night , this was my armada.. I will not deny the fact that I am extremely obssessed with anything silver, steels, hardwares but when I saw the silver tank top from a label Markus, I instantly bought it. Without the jacket , it looked too Gay Pride-y slash Dance Instructor on me considering the fact that I have huge man boobs and shoulders. Metallics can be tacky though but if worn right, it can turn out rad. I wish the neckline is a bit wider and the armhole a bit more loose... Must find a silver trousers and tee for this.

First night of our Baguio City vacay and I was so excited to see fogs swarming the empty streets like a spooky dementor. In my imagination, a werewolf or a battalion of zombies would appear in the scene but it's peaceful in Baguio City. There are no annoying firecrackers in the street . The Yuletide vibe extended as we visited the Christmas Village. It's a perfect place for kids and for grown ups like me who are still amused with snow. The place was perfect.

It was unplanned. spontaneous . A day prior this trip, we had dinner in Tagaytay then Ally invited me to spend New Year's Eve with her family in Baguio for 3 days. I was skeptical at first because I always celebrate NYE with the family but my mantra is to always experience new things. The last time I've been here was 12 years ago. It was colder back then but then I'm not complaining. I love the refrigerator , pore-refining weather. I am so grateful that we have a place like this here in the Philippines. I wasn't able to make a year-ender blog because I just came home from my Baguio trip with my Gold Dot Family. I've always considered my life unplanned and it was a whirlwind indeed . I'm so glad to have shared those big chunks of life experiences with you. This isn't really a fashion blog , rather it's an extension of my brain and I couldn't be more happy because you guys have shown your genuine interest with it. So happy to finally receive the drop crotch shorts with attached leggings that my aunt ordered for me. It's a Japanese brand Mercibeaucoup . There was a time when I hoarded drop crotch pants and harems sometime in 2007 during the Comme de Garcon x H&M craze but this time I want my harem pants in wool and linen fabric. I already donated those stretch harems I had since it has become ubiquitous in the market. At the moment, I already have 4 and counting. There are times that i want to look sleek and skinny but I love it whenever I look like a normy Japanese going to work on a Monday morning.

I know the look is reminiscent to Givenchy. I think wearing warmers under the shirt is innovative. Too bad i lost the other half. Must find it somewhere.

This is the Gold Dot Thysz neckpiece... So this one's cool. When you wear it, the plastic Margielic bib kinda disappear because it is transparet . And it would seem that those nuts and bolts are attached on your collarbone or shirt. It's just a simple DIY idea and when I suggested it to Miss Ally Duazo of Gold Dot, there was this lightbulb moment. Good thing it pushed through.

I had to wear my Brian Evalle Heeless shoes.. I brought it with me because I had a quick photoshoot for a Swedish online magazine feature. They insisted that I bring my ridiculousy high platform shoes. So there.

The dilemma of owning too much shoes is maintaining its quality. The more that you keep it unused, the faster it will wither. And we don't want our shoes to expire hastily , right?

My new favorite wedges from Gold Dot. These shoes just came out fresh from the shoe oven. I was surprised when I saw the actual shoes. They're basically higher yet more comfy. Ally Duazo knows and understand the vitality of a comfortable killer shoes. Ironic , no?

A lil' story behind these shoes. I remember we conceptualized this design over BBM in no less than an hour. Before I went to bed, I sketched , took a photo then sent it to Ally. While she took photos of the swatches , colors etc. for me to choose. I wasn't working for GoldDot yet but Ally was so sweet to ask for my suggestions for the shoes. It was fun. Ally thought of releasing lace ups which veer away from the ubiquitous and rampant Jeffrey Campbell LITA heels. So we came up with these. The look and feel is still Gold Dot , no ? What color do you like among the three? Team Blue here.. but i like the grey as well...

On top of everything , I would like to thank my dear friends and loved ones for a very lovely year. oh, Have you noticed that the weather every Christmas day in Manila has been consistent for the past few years. It's sunny yet windy. A rather perfect timing to wear all these red pieces from my favorite brands. It's fun combining red and cherry . It looks more festive and Christmas-y. The two-toned leather leggings are the cherry on top of my new clothing pieces. Rik Rasos, one of the designers of cult brand ProudRace, told me that Michelle of Kingdom of Style also have these exact leggings so I am wearing it loud and proud haha.

BTW, my dad bought us a new benchpress (if you happen to notice). My dream of having a toned arms and chest will come true. twinky boy no more i guess. haha

There was a time when Religion and issues of Sacrilege and such became big in the art scene. It caused division and created a massive awakening. Then there's Lady Gaga and her video Judas and the countless fashion collections enliven in the biblical context plus those entertaining Vogue Editorials (naked wearing those crowns of thorns and the tapestry finished dresses). I was a big fan of the brand Imitation of Christ mainly because of the "name". Prior to those events, I have this plan of diy-ing all my white shirts with handpainted cross streaked with red textile paint. I almost had my shirts digi-printed with faces of Mary and the Holy Family only to realize it would be very expensive and temporary. It somehow actualized but then it dosed off of since my interests easily jump from one thing to another. I had those phase when i was so fond of gore mixed with biblical icons which if would be taken seriously would be deemed blasphemous by some sectors. Nevertheless, it's all about self- expression and auto-articulation.

So happy that my favorite brand Proudrace released this collection a couple of months ago with this image of him. I love that the brand has grown into a more high end label too yet it continues to embody that bold and youthful attitude . It's actually an inspiration among us, indie designers who are still striving to embark in this path. Jesus would be proud himself.

Went to a Christmas event and I loved the combined brands that I randomly picked. Not basically about the brand though but the aesthetic of each undoubtedly speaks so much about darkness , rock and the like. The skirt is from UUU shoop , a Hongkong brand . They have the most explosive and fun designs. They are experts in stripes and crazy patterns . No wonder why StyleBubble loves the brand so much.

I feel bad that I don't have much blue pieces in my wardrobe. Blue is refreshing.. It's futuristic... I remember blue was my favorite when i was in kindergarten. I would always keep my blue crayon in its box so it won't be used by classmates. My love for blue was reaffirmed by these wedges. It was the perfect timing to wear these colored blue jeans which was from last year. It is from a Japanese brand - LOVELess and it was the onset of Jeggings when my aunt got them for me.
About the Dax Wedges that I am wearing, I love that the shoes have this United Nude feel. I am just a big fan of that brand. The architect slash designer, Rem D Koolhaas ,who conceptualize each shoe is a major genius.

Going back ... I've already seen the shoes that I designed for the February collection of Gold Dot. It is slightly ambitious yet wearable in a sense plus I'm proud to say that they are all-original.haha. I nearly cried when I saw the sample shoe when we met up with the supplier. I'm beginning to get used with the swatches, fabric, supplier codes and the tough jargons. I must always keep in mind that designs should be RTW , fresh and original. More often than not, I always struggle to meet those 3. It's just a tough business out there. Not so long ago , only few local shoe brands are just existing but in a matter of months, it ballooned and I must say that each brands are globally competitive. It's a good sign though and I am happy.

Just last year, Ally sent me my first ever Gold Dot shoes (click here ) and just after a year, i am working for her na. Time flies so fast.

It may sound cliche and tiring when people ask designers the "inspiration" behind each collection. And in turn, we know designers get tired as well in answering. But in truth, inspiration exists. Sometimes , it works magically as it can also be realized after the design was actualized. Just like this Dax Wedge from Gold Dot. I went out to take a product shot of my new shoes and then I saw Dad's motor bike and the water gallon which resembled the details of the shoes. amazing (ng very light) haha

It's Christmas time again and I begin to wonder like I always do before how it is to celebrate or feel the yuletide spirit in another place.. or time or space perhaps? (my dream to travel hasn't transpired yet) How I've always wished to witness how the first snow falls or how those fat snowmans are built. It sucks that I have never experienced snow in Christmas as a child. I envied my cousins in Japan who would send photos of them swimming in the sea of snow. Now this reminded me how me and my brothers pretended to snow by scraping styropor balls in the whole apartment when the parents are out. Mom would always get mad. haha .

I would always be filled with joy when dad unearths the Christmas tree and the dusty lights. Yes we spend more on Christmas but it's a way of projecting love ...in shiny colored wrappers that is.

But I'm here in the Philippines. There's this constant unwavering traffic from 7pm to 10pm.
No snow just rain. Karaoke songs reverberating in the neighborhood . But I won't deny that these are what I look forward to this season. These are the tiny fun pieces that comprise the whole Filipino Christmas spirit thingy o whatever you may call it. I can't wait for aunt's Spaghetti and is it just me or Coke regular tastes so good on Christmas day?

The pants is made of polyester something. The type of fabric used in scuba diving but in a more lightweight version.

I found the perfect cut out vest from Poisonberry. It's an online site which carries clothing for girls but unexpectedly I snagged this cut-out vest straight from the sales rack which has a Comme des Garcon sensibility. I just love shapes and sharp geometric silhouettes in clothes that's why I'm so happy to get the last piece. Plus it's an add on piece which you can incorporate in any outfit easily. One may also think that it was designed by a young korean designer, no? I also encouraged the designer to make more pieces like this. The pattern is fun.

Lisbeth Salander , the protagonist in the movie Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, was my inspiration this day. Celebrating its hit among fans worldwide, Fashion giant H&M released a collection as homage for the movie. There is this magical palpable sex , grunge and violence in the collection although it caused an alarming buzz re: the so-called glamorizing of a rape victim as a fashion inspiration. I think I'll have my friend buy something for me from that line. I was surprised that they carry shredded shirts. Now i need a piercing asap. haha.

I don't watch Starwars but the whole thing reminded me of that Starwars protagonist. And at any moment I can only imagine my belt transforming into a long laser-like sword with the funny sound effects.

I know i sometimes or always get too matchy matchy with the accessories and shoes but the hi impact stainless deets enhance the neutral clothes. I've noticed that dressing down sometimes gives me an interpersonal peace as well. How i wish I could achieve the quiet chic look that those mid 30's Japanese people I see on the internet embody. But I guess I have to play more since I'm still 24 and accessories are here for a reason. It's just about choosing the right accessories though.

By the end of the month or earlier I'm planning to revamp my blog. do a tiny clean up . i suck at html but i will do what i can. It's now or never! =p if you have any suggestions, you can also comment below and let me know.

Not so long time ago, Mike and I dreamt of , at least, meeting these people. They are a group of creative and powerful individuals who have inspired us to be real and discover how lovely manila's fashion scene is. We were so scared at them at first. Still scared though because we highly respect them. It is a privilege that we were able to work with them in this shoot for FaDAL X Patrick Galang's collaboration this December. Mike and I have partied with them countless times but working with them this time was different. We were so touched that they have given their time 'spite of their uber hectic schedule. RCXY and Lotho even brought their costumes making it easy for Patrick to style the shoot. The movie PantyMonsters is so close to their heart and it was the perfect shoot to close this year. I am so excited and I can't wait!

I had tons of laughing gas when these girls arrived. It was inspiring to see them style themselves for the shoot. I love them. I look up to them . That's why when stylist Patrick Galang told me about the moodboard for the collab exhibit with FaDAL , my mood and excitement sky-rocketed. The theme was party monsters and of course , the models couldn't be any lesser than the Manila party monsters themselves. Their definition of underground fashion and party created a stir and up to now, they rule the clubbing empire. Watch out for our photo exhibit tomorrow at 7th High 9pm at the VIP Lounge.

'Spite of what I've been hearing from everyone who complain that the Holiday season isn't palpable at any level, I, on the other hand , am really looking forward for that day. Actually , it is the countdown that keeps the excitement and spirit going. Don't you agree? To keep the anticipation alive, one must attend a Christmas party of course.
I went to my first ever Christmas party for this year. Like a kindergarten student who is excited for his first Xmas party , I opted to wear the obligatory christmas color and no one dared to stop me. Don't you hate it when a party has this silly theme and yet you still comply? I was a subtle Michael Jackson for that day. The theme? Rockstars.

I was so excited to try out these lovely wedges from Feet for a Queen which happened to be one of my Christmas gifts given by the store owner. Yes. I still count my presents. They are blessings and counting them is healthy you see.

BTS Gold Dot hOLIDAY 2011 Automaton lookbook
Ria Bolivar is so easy to work. Same goes with the team. Of course, the resident photographer Edrick Bruel got this project and Mike as the stylist. I think they do great as a duo. We started at around 9 am and ended at 4pm. Everything fell into place as you can see. The clothes from young designers Xernan Orticio and Mark Tamayo seamlessly blended with the whole look. We also made the plastic dress and garments at the spur of the moment. Thanks to Ally's skill in sewing haha. And of course, the lookbook wouldn't be all possible without the fantastic warehouse of Ally's BF .

We never had a difficult time with the model of course. She really knows what the photographer and everyone in the team want. We wanted an alien look, she pulled off a sexy Martian . Working with her is one great experience indeed. I usually cringe whenever a thing gets overhyped but this lookbook/editorial deserves an overhype haha. The lookbook of the much awaited Gold Dot 2011 holiday collection has landed.. Gold Dot takes you to a new age as it brings you the Automaton collection . Inspired by Transformers and machines , 3 designs were created to build a story of future. Gold Dot has been a tool in providing shoes with an easy edge and panache and true to form , these originally designed pairs are just what we need. Modern colors of grey , blue, white and black are mixed with stunning details like the detachable gunmetal leather foil and acrylic glass in grey and blue sandwiched inside the wedge . Pretty Interesting , no?

Of course , top Model Ria Bolivar graced the lookbook and was produced none other than our super talented team haha

I'll be getting 2 colors of the Dax booties since the acrylic details and colors had me. how about you?
