hello nicole!

We arrived at 6 AM in Bacolod. The city of smiles indeed. Smiles from strangers were highly appreciated especially by me who hasn't slept that day yet. AJ Omandac was kind enough to offer his hands to me when he noticed that I looked terrified inside the plane. When I was 7, I pretended that I was only riding an airconditioned bus to fight the fear of speed and motion but I'm 24 now and I can't fool myself. I know that this aint a bus no more and it is flying 20 thousand feet above land. The weather was cold when we arrived and an ill-feeling poked me in the head because I forgot to bring a single piece of jacket. The pavements were equally washed with the morning drizzle. There were pine trees around which reminded me of Christmas in 1994 and Baguio but only people w/ different dialect. How i wished I was with my mom and dad and they'd pay my cab fare . kidding.

I was so eager to take photos of every move we make to cherish the momentum but like a tired dog, i saved my energy for the long day. We ate at a homey resto and savored the first meal of the day. My first bacolod meal- Bulalo and Roasted Tuna. I've never been this excited and un-guilty with food in my entire life.

I am so happy with the company. It's my first time to really go out of town for a vacation since I hate long travels and packing. But I'm with the best people and we're here for my good friend , Nicole. More photos to follow!
