Still imbibing the beaten up shabby homeless nonchalant look, i opted to wear this very light and quirky tee shirt i bought on ebay years ago. The patterned triangular section on the bottom is sensibly and subtly dramatic for a shirt and shirts are really useful when you live in the tropics. There are shirts and there are SHIRTSSSSSS out there which could be as impressive!! I personally dont like the off color of taupe so I created random holes to maximize the dirty feel of it.

With all the good things that has been happening recently, I couldn't thank enough the universe and ALL the wonderful people who continuously inspire me to do what i love. I CANT wait for September since its gonna be a very exciting month for me and for all of us.

but for now i need to have my nails done and see my hairstylist asap coz i feel so severely used like these boots that I always wear whenever wherever whatever. I could really use a lil bit ov height and these surprisingly ward off bad guys i encounter in the streets.

Special thanks to AJ Omandac for letting us use his wonderful flat for this very special shoot today and team FFT for the superb JOB! I LOVE you..

more photos to follow!

a very model-y look today after a photoshoot. how avant garde! lol! I just love the new pieces of Oxygen. This isnt a paid advertisment okay? Thank you Kat Reyes for the gift checks. I usually find it so hard to buy something in the mall but I guess in this age of mass retail craze, there's something for everyone already.

Speaking of mass retail, I just had the most wonderful experience while roaming around Forever21 in Megamall earlier. Me and Mike were about to leave the crowded store when he saw Liz Uy accross the room with the talented hairstylist Raymond Santiago. Just so you know, Liz Uy is a Fashion editor / Contributing editor of Preview Magazine and the stylist of President Benigno Aquino. She was busy looking for clothes and I was discreetly inspecting her beauty and exquisiteness from afar. She was so tall and gracious in her Versace heels .

After some time, i stopped my ogling business coz i was talking to my friend Nicole then surprisingly she appeared in the scene and she approached me and then i started peeing in my mouth and everything went black! (kidding). She asked me where did i get the shoes I was wearing and I couldnt even speak properly. Good thing my friend Nicole helped me to answer since she was the one who produced the wedges anyway. Her voice was husky and i think shes wearing a MAC x Barbie lipstick. She was nice and shes a stunner and shes so beautiful . and Now i have a total crush on her... even if im a gay guy.

good thing i wore my wedges that day! haha

theres no such thing as over draping

saw this on Christeric's site a while ago and i just had to repost the wonderful shirt! i love the song by st. vincent and it may be blasphemous to some but its witty right?

i dont usually buy statement shirts but I guess theres an exception if the statement is just as wicked as this one

i need those shirts in my life.. more lookbook photos of UNIF 2011 here

this what i wore to leeroy new's exhibit last wednesday

ive never layered like this since forever. Usually, others would wear a scarf and a cardigan .. but for me, i wore like 3 asymmetrical tops , leggings and a sheer cloth as a skirt.. its fun especially when there's a wind...

out with the old. in with the NEW!

My fascination with dark creatures and wicked lil' things (blame my addiction with RPG games and horror films when i was a kid) was further amplified after visiting Leeroy New's exhibit at the College of St. Benilde last Wednesday. I can truly exclaim that he is definitely one of the newest artists to watch out for. His most recent success was his collaboration with shoe-designer Kermit Tesoro for Holiday 2010 collection and i blogged about it months ago. In case you dont know, he also presented his works at the
Singapore Biennale in 2008 and at the Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale last year. Actually, this exhibit was a project of the CSB students and Gelo Arucan who was one of the hosts , invited us for a night of extraterrestrial intergalactic sci-fi mythology treat. This exhibit might not be for the faint-hearted but Im pretty sure the pieces and sculptures presented perked up everyone's interests big time. BE mesmerized with Leeroy New's Creatures of the Imagination.
